wierd start to this session as looked like we'd be skunked totally. Misty, no wind, then it all switched around and came from the other direction .. ie starboard tack, and being ones to make the best of whatever was thrown at us, myself and Dave took to the water in bugger all wind to test out the Cool Rider with Reverb 5.6m, and the Windstyler with Plasma 7.5m.
Wind came through a bit and Dave was pretty soon up and planing on the Windstyler so cue a switch over so I could give it a go also.
We took an executive decision pretty soon after and nipped in to bags ourselves a couple of Rockets. I went for the Rocket 145 as I'd not tried one before, and Dave went for the Rocket 135 and plugged in the Plasma 7.5m. I'd meanwhile grabbed a Matrix 7.0m to pair with my Rocket 145 and we chased each other around on these for a couple of hours.
The Rocket 145 / 7.0m matrix combo seemed to be the quicker on all points, and I don't think it was down to pilot skills as Dave is pretty similar standard to myself. In fact, only one guy went past me, and he was on an iSonic with full on race sail ... I was pretty pissed off as it was a Gun race sail, but no as pissed off as he was when he noticed I was on a Rocket with a no cam freeride sail ;-)

Another cracking session, if slightly lighter winds, but they were much less gusty with poniente :-)
